Were new laws passed that impact revaluation?

The General Assembly passed two bills that impacted the effective date of revaluations in Anson, Bladen, Buncombe, Chowan, Davidson, Guilford, Onslow, Pamlico, and Pender counties. In 2027, 37 counties, including Wake County, will have revaluations effective January 1, 2027. The bills that were passed do not impact the 2027 revaluations.
