Will I be able to appeal my new assessed value?

If you agree with your new value, no action is needed. However, all property owners will have the right to appeal the appraised value of their property to the Wake County Board of Equalization and Review.  In January 2027, more information about how to appeal and a link to the County’s property tax portal will be available at wake.gov/revaluation.
