How can I update my name on a deed?

Changes to a deed must be made with the Register of Deeds at 919-856-5460 or through their Tyler Self-Service Web Portal - http://rodtylerssprod/kiosk/.  Once the deed is sent to the Register of Deeds office and scanned, it will come to the Tax Department, typically within two weeks.
