Real Estate, Business and Personal Property

Mailing address updates can be submitted for real estate, business and personal property accounts by submitting an online support request at https://taxhelp.wake.gov/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=42951922388500.
 

Gross Receipts

Submit an online support request at https://wake.gov/grhelp to update your Gross Receipts account mailing address.

Registered Motor Vehicles

For registered motor vehicles, address changes should be made with the North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles (NCDMV).

Boats and Watercraft

For boats, and other watercraft, BOTH mailing AND physical address changes should be made with the Wake County Tax Administration by submitting an online request from at https://wake.gov/ipphelp AND GoOutdoors - North Carolina Wildlife Resource Commission.

If you move your boat or watercraft out of Wake County, but do not update this with GoOutdoors, you may be billed for the property in Wake County.
